Bed & Breakfast Guest Accommodation at Hatton, Near Burton On Trent and Tutbury. The address is 20 Station Road, Hatton, DE65 5EL. To book, phone 01283815996.

Thank you for visiting the web site of DoveVale.co.uk, a 4 star B&B with en-suite rooms. Our immediate locality is the DE65 postal area which includes Burnaston, Church Broughton, Etwall, Foston (including Dove Valley Park), Hatton, Hilton and Willington. We adjoin DE13 (Anslow, Hanbury, Rolleston, Stretton, Tutbury) and DE14 (Branston and Burton-upon-Trent).

The picture shows two houses. This is because the entrance to our B&B is the drive of the house on the left and the exit is the drive of the house on the right. There is ample off-road parking.

We are situated in the village of Hatton in South Derbyshire.

  • Within 3 minutes walk is TUTBURY & HATTON Station (on the Derby to Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe Line)
  • Outside the B&B are bus stops for Burton-on-Trent (Tutbury, Rolleston, Stretton), Uttoxeter (Foston, Dove Valley Park, Foston Hall Prison, Sudbury Hall, Sudbury Prison) and Derby (Hilton, Etwall).
  • Half a mile away is Tutbury, well known for it castle and historic connections with Mary Queen of Scots.
  • A short drive takes you into Burton-upon-Trent, traditional centre of the country’s beer brewing industry.
  • Also nearby are Derby (12 miles), Uttoxeter (9), East Midlands Airport and Donington Park (both 20 miles).
  • We are just off the northern edge of the National Forest and only 12 miles from the Gateway into the Peak District at Ashbourne.

We take our name from the River Dove, which rises in some of the most spectacular countryside in Britain in the Peak National Park and flows to its confluence with the River Trent to the north-west of Burton-upon-Trent. The river is about three minutes walk from us and for much of its length it forms the boundary between Derbyshire and Staffordshire. Just as the River Dove can be seen as joining the two counties we very much see ourselves as representing both South Derbyshire and East Staffordshire, with the National Forest at the heart of both.
